Cinderella’s Royal Table: Dining Inside the Castle
If dining inside Cinderella Castle is on your Disney bucket list, then this is the experience you’re looking for. Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the most iconic character dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World—and yes, you actually get to eat inside the castle, up a spiral staircase fit for royalty (there’s an elevator too, for those who need it).
We’ve only done this one once—on my birthday, actually. My son isn’t super into princesses, but I grew up on Cinderella. She was my very first princess and the very first Disney movie I ever saw. So when Cinderella herself looked me in the eye and wished me a happy birthday? Yeah, my grumpy grown-up self cried. No shame.
Was the food life-changing? Not really. It was good. The service was excellent. But what you’re really paying for here is the magic: the setting, the princess interactions, the moment you walk into that castle and realize this is something truly special. If you’re celebrating something big—or just want that fairytale moment—this is the place.
Important Things to Know
- Prepaid Experience: This is a prepaid reservation. When you book, you’ll pay upfront, and that price includes tax and gratuity. We still tipped extra because the experience was that good, but it’s not required.
- Theme Park Admission Required: You need a valid Magic Kingdom ticket to dine here. If you’re going during an after-hours event like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you’ll need a party ticket instead.
- Reservations Open Early: This spot is one of the most in-demand dining experiences at Disney. Book as early as your window allows—currently 60 days out from your trip (plus length of stay if you’re staying on property).
- No Modifications: Once you book, you cannot modify the reservation. Cancel at least 2 hours ahead or you’ll be charged the full price.
Dining Experience
Before you even sit down, you’ll meet Cinderella in the Grand Hall for a regal welcome (and yes, there are photos). From there, you head upstairs into the dining room—complete with high stone archways, stained glass windows, and sweeping views of Fantasyland.
While you eat, other Disney princesses rotate through the dining room for photos and autographs. These can vary, but expect favorites like Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine, or Aurora. And yes—dressing up is encouraged, especially for the little ones.
What’s on the Menu?
💫 Breakfast
A mix of light and hearty options—think banana-stuffed French toast, shrimp and grits, or a classic scrambled eggs and bacon plate. You’ll also find pastries, juices, and Joffrey’s coffee.
💫 Lunch & Dinner
Meals include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Choices may include roasted lamb chops, a fish of the day, cauliflower steak, or beef dishes. Kids can stick with familiar options like chicken nuggets or mac and cheese.
Save room for dessert! Signature items like the “Floating Island” and “The Clock Strikes Twelve” are just as whimsical as they sound.
💸 Pricing:
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are all listed at over $60 per adult. This is one of Disney’s most expensive meals, but again—you’re paying for more than just food.
Seasonal Note
Cinderella’s Royal Table is available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but only if you have a valid party ticket for that night. It can be a magical way to escape the crowds and enjoy dinner in peace while still soaking in the party vibes.
Is It Worth It?
If you’re on a strict budget or looking for the absolute best food on property, this might not be your top pick. But if your heart skips a beat at the idea of dining inside Cinderella Castle? If you’re celebrating something special—or you’ve got a little one who dreams in tiaras? Then yes. This is Disney magic at its finest.
Please note: Pricing, menus, character appearances, and reservation policies are subject to change without notice. Always check the official Disney website or My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information before booking.
