A Disney Vacation Club Stay Review
🌴 First Impressions: A True Tropical Oasis
Stepping into Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort feels like being transported straight to Hawaii. The moment we entered the Deluxe Studio, the signature Polynesian scent washed over us, blending with the lush tropical landscaping that surrounds the walkways. The immersive theming makes you forget you’re in the middle of Walt Disney World.

🛏️ Room Features: Spacious and Comfortable
The Polynesian Deluxe Studio is thoughtfully designed for families. Ours featured:
- One queen bed and two Murphy beds (sleeps up to five guests)
- Ample drawer and closet space for unpacking
- Two bathrooms — one with a tub and one with a tiled rainfall shower
- Disney’s Sea Salt & Sea Marine bath products (some of the best we’ve had at a Disney resort)

The two bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a stunning tiled shower featuring a rainfall showerhead, are stocked with the best-smelling Disney Sea Salt and Sea Marine shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, elevating your pampering experience.

The kitchenette was a huge perk. With a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, mini-fridge, and plenty of dishware, we easily prepared snacks and small meals. The private patio gave us a peaceful retreat with tropical views.

🎨 Disney + Hawaii Theming
The attention to detail is incredible — from the island-inspired décor to personalized touches like the “Welcome Home, Rose Family” message on our TV. At the end of our building, we could even see Cinderella Castle in the distance — pure magic.

🏊 Pools and Recreation
Polynesian offers two very different pool experiences:
- The Lava Pool – lively, with a volcano waterslide and splash play area.
- The Oasis Pool – quieter, tucked away, perfect for relaxing.
Daily activities keep kids and families entertained, from games to crafts.

🍴 Dining at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Food is a highlight here, with options ranging from quick snacks to sit-down dining:
- ‘Ohana – a guest favorite for its character breakfast and family-style dinner.
- Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto – specialty cocktails and themed fun.
- Kona Café – delicious table-service meals (we loved our dinner here).
- Capt. Cook’s – reliable quick-service with favorites like the Aloha Pork Sandwich and Pan-Asian Noodles.
- Pineapple Lanai – home of the famous DOLE Whip.
- Barefoot Pool Bar – casual snacks and drinks; we recommend the Fish Tacos or Fried Wonton Chips.

🎆 Entertainment & Resort Perks
Watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Polynesian beach (with music piped in) is an experience you’ll never forget. You’re also steps from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), making monorail access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT a breeze.
Shopping at Boutiki and Moana Mercantile adds even more fun, with plenty of tropical and Disney souvenirs.

🏝️ Our Final Take
We absolutely loved our stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Between the immersive theming, convenient location, excellent food, and relaxing studio amenities, it truly feels like a tropical oasis in the heart of Walt Disney World.
