If you’re planning a trip to Disney, a neck fan can be a game-changer in keeping you cool and comfortable. I’ve tried out a variety of portable neck fans to find the best options, and these were my favorites.
coldSky Portable Handheld 4000mAh Fan
This was my overall favorite as far as portable fans go. It comes with a lanyard and the head tilts. It has five speeds and a digital read out to show you how much power is left. At 4000mAh it is probably not going to last you all day. However, if you conserve use, the battery should get you through the hottest part of the day.
One important feature to look for in a neck fan is a long-lasting battery. The longest lasting models I’ve tested have 10,000 mAh batteries, allowing them to run for hours without needing to be recharged.
I didn’t care for any of the usual neck fan models. A basic neck fan design works, but it only cools the neck area and the airflow is often quite weak.

There are more advanced models with multiple fans and flexible arms to provide more effective cooling. .
The dual-fan neck fan is bulkier, but the two adjustable cooling heads give you a lot of control over where the airflow is directed. It also has six speed settings for customizing the breeze. This one was my top choice for maximum cooling ALL day during the hottest part of summer.
