Tony’s Town Square Restaurant (Magic Kingdom) – Review, Photos & Tips
Short take: We put Tony’s off for ages because of the rough reviews floating around—but wow, were we surprised. From the first bite of that out-of-this-world garlic bread to the last twirl of pasta, we left full, happy, and already planning a return. Atmosphere was cozy Main Street charm, and service was even better.
🍝 Overview
Tucked just inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park on Main Street, U.S.A., Tony’s is a turn-of-the-century trattoria inspired by Lady and the Tramp. Think whitewashed trim, French doors, and people-watching from the porch. It’s casual, kid-friendly, and a convenient first-or-last-stop meal on a Magic Kingdom day.
✅ Why We Liked It (A Lot)
- Garlic Bread = must-order. Warm, toasty ciabatta with garlicky, cheesy goodness. Instant table favorite.
- Fried Mozzarella (huge!). Crispy outside, melty center, and a generous portion. Perfect to share—or not.
- Comfort-food pastas done right. Classic flavors, familiar sauces, and satisfying portions.
- Service & vibes. Friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive—made the meal feel special.
- Kid-friendly without sacrificing flavor. Our kiddo crushed the mac ‘n’ cheese.
Order garlic bread and fried mozzarella to share, then split two entrées—plenty of food without rolling out the door.
📸 Our Order & Impressions
- Tony’s Garlic Bread for the Table – showstopper starter; don’t skip.
- Fried Mozzarella – massive portion; crispy + stretchy perfection.
- Spaghetti & Meatballs – classic, saucy, comforting.
- Oven-Roasted Shrimp Scampi – bright lemon-garlic, nicely cooked shrimp.
- Kids’ Mac & Cheese – creamy and kid-approved.
- Bellini + Diet Coke – easy sips that pair well with heavier dishes.
We walked in skeptical and walked out grinning. Everything we had was fabulous; the fried mozzarella, especially, is a shareable headliner.

📍 Location, Timing & Logistics
- Where: Main Street, U.S.A., near the park entrance (Town Square)
- Reservations: Highly recommended—Tony’s books up during peak seasons.
- Pacing: Service was efficient without feeling rushed.
- Noise: Lively, but conversation-friendly in our experience.
- Porch seating: Lovely for people-watching when available.
For parade-day dining, ask politely about porch seating—not guaranteed, but fantastic if you snag it.
🧠 Our Bottom Line
Ignore the “meh” chatter and try it yourself. We hesitated because of mixed reviews, but our experience delivered great food, warm service, and that cozy Main Street charm. We’d absolutely eat here again.
